Dr. Imler’s passion and commitment for adoption arose out of the blessing he experienced as an adopted child. He would later meet his birth mother when he was 20 years where he learned about the journey she made in choosing life and adoption for him.
He promised God that he would do anything, anytime, anywhere for the cause of life and the world of adoption. His appreciation for adoption would expand as he and his wife grew their family through the adoption of two amazing children, Grant and Lauren.
Dr. Imler served as a consultant to the Family Research Council and the research they conducted on the presence and receptivity of adoption in the pregnancy center community. He spent 22 years with the American Pregnancy Association where he worked with women experiencing unplanned pregnancies as well as couples working through infertility and transitioning into the world of adoption.
He conducted home studies for the Guardian Angels International Adoption agency for a number of years. He currently provides counseling and education services to birth mothers, prospective parents, and adoptive families. He has served as the President of the Christian Adoption Alliance for approximately 20 years. His comprehensive understanding of adoption helps guide the services provided by Choose Life Adoptions.
